The Acupuncture Hale is the first clinic of its kind in Honolulu, Hawaii. It is part of the growing Community Acupuncture movement that is changing the way healthcare is provided. We are changing the rules by providing acupuncture at an affordable cost and creating a community space. We want to make it possible for you to receive acupuncture regularly enough and long enough to get better and stay better, without the need to rely on corporations like Big Insurance or Big Pharmaceuticals for costly, high-tech interventions.
Most U.S. acupuncturists treat patients on tables in individual cubicles. This is not traditional in Asia, where acupuncture usually occurs in a community setting. In our clinic we primarily use recliners, clustered in groups in a large, quiet, soothing space. Treating patients in a community setting has many benefits:
• Friends and family can be treated together
• It is comforting
• Collective energy is established which makes individual treatments more powerful
• Allows for affordable treatments

$20 to $40, with an additional $10 new patient fee at first visit
At The Acupuncture Hale, you decide how much you can afford. We understand that financial circumstances can change, so if you want to pay $35 one visit and $20 the next, that is fine with us.
